  Auridis invests globally in endeavours which sustainably improve the life opportunities for socially-disadvantaged children. Investments by Auridis are focused on the dissemination and replication of successful approaches.
Citi supports Aflatoun's work across the globe. In 2008 Citi sponsored Aflatoun's global campaign launch in Amsterdam where Aflatoun unveiled its campaign to reach 1 million children in 75 countries with the programme. Citi has also sponsored various Aflatoun programmes on the ground in the Netherlands, India and other countries.

Investing in Children and their Societies  (ICS) is a Dutch development organization. A future for children in Africa and Asia. That’s the goal of ICS. A good social environment is essential for that. Not only in the family, but also in the community. To achieve that, child protection and social entrepreneurship are pivotal aspects in the work of ICS. Its main objective is to realise lasting improvements in the lives of vulnerable children and their communities through child rights programmes and projects, mainly in rural areas. ICS has regional offices based in Kenya and in Thailand.  


The Jacobs Foundation cultivates close relationships with institutions and individuals who engage in innovative ways to achieve goals similar to its own. It selects activities which show excellent prospects for equipping young people to master the challenges of growing up.


The Dutch Postcode Lottery (Nationale Postcode Loterij) was founded twenty years ago to generate a continuous flow of funds for charity organizations dedicated to ‘people’ and ‘planet’. Today, the Dutch Postcode Lottery is Holland’s biggest and most popular charitable lottery and supports 81 charity organizations worldwide. Since its launch in 1989, the lottery has paid out over 3 billion Euros to its beneficiaries.

The Skoll Foundation was created by Jeff Skoll in 1999 to pursue his vision of a world where all people, regardless of geography, background or economic status, enjoy and employ the full range of their talents and abilities. The Foundation's mission is to advance systemic change to benefit communities around the world by investing in, connecting and celebrating social entrepreneurs. The Skoll Awards for Social Entrepreneurship support the replication or extension of programmes that have proved successful in addressing a broad array of critical social issues: tolerance and human rights, health, environmental sustainability, economic and social equity, institutional responsibility, and peace and security.

Triodos Foundation stimulates national and international projects that initiate social innovation. It encourages more conscious use of money and stimulates innovative developments. Triodos Foundation took it upon itself to highlight the work of Aflatoun to Triodos Bank customers, and collected funds which it gave in the form of a generous gift to the Aflatoun Secretariat.

   Banco Columbia the CSR department is supporting our partner in Argentina Trazos de Ciudadania with the printing of the Aflatoun books to deliver the Aflatoun programme in Rosario.

Barclays Capital is a socially responsible organisation which is actively involved in the communities in which it works. We focus our support on charities that take a transformational approach to solving social problems and where we can make the greatest possible difference, using our expertise and resources, and the time and skills of our people.

In addition to being a supporter of the Aflatoun Secretariat, Citi has also sponsored various Aflatoun Programmes on the ground in the Netherlands, India and other countries.
 Dutch Embassies  The Dutch Embassies have provided financial support to the Aflatoun-Afghanistan programme and the Aflatoun-Moldova programme.

The Eureko Achmea Foundation (EAF) was set up to tangibly realise the endeavour to contribute to sustainable improvement of the socio-economic environment of groups in need, in the Netherlands and abroad. EAF made a generous grant to our Russian Aflatoun partner, New Perspectives Foundation. This will enable the Aflatoun programme to start in schools in Russia.

femi Foundation to Earth, Mankind through Inspiration and Initiative (FEMI) is a foundation focused on the education of children for the good of all. FEMI believes in the importance of children and in empowering people to make them better equipped to change what they want to tackle. FEMI has provided financial support to the Aflatoun-Tanzania programme.
Set up as a public benefit foundation in Belgium in 2006, the Fondation Marie et Alain Philippson has been operational since January 2007.The mission of the Foundation is to support social entrepreneurs who contribute to sustainable human development in Central and Western Africa. The Foundation supports initiatives reinforcing access to knowledge and skills as well as encouraging active participation in social and economic life.To achieve its goal, it strengthens organisations that aim to extend their social impact and thereby improve the lives of women and youths in a lasting and concrete way. G-Star founded the GSRD foundation to make valuable contributions to the development and economic independence of people in order to improve their situations by supporting projects that educate children as well as stimulate and support entrepreneurs. J.P. Morgan is a leader in wholesale financial services, offering intelligent solutions across one of the most comprehensive global product platforms available. They are a strategic partner for Aflatoun's country programmes with a current commitment to the Aflatoun Nigeria programme and the Aflatoun-Netherlands programme.
  KLM AirCares was founded in 1999 based on the proposition that, as a socially responsible enterprise, KLM bears a responsibility to underprivileged children living in the countries to which it flies - countries in which the living conditions leave something to be desired. Since that time, AirCares has been supporting charitable organizations in sustainable projects which it chooses based on the local need. These projects all contribute to achievement of the UN's Millennium Development Goals. The main purpose of this support is to help bring about development which can contribute at a deeper level to improving these children's living conditions.
  The Marshall Foundation is a family foundation looking to make a significant difference to people and organisations that are leading social change around the world.
Plan Nederland is a financial supporter of the Aflatoun Netherlands programme and Plan International is working with several members of the Global Network at the regional level on the roll-out of Aflatoun.

The Scotiabank Bright Future Program concentrates social investments in charitable groups or community projects that enhance the well-being of children, particularly in the areas of education, health and wellness or the eradication of youth poverty. The Turing Foundation will finance the full project costs involved in training teachers and providing teaching materials at 160 schools in Ghana until 2011, allowing for the implementation of the Aflatoun programme.

Pro Bono partners

The Allianz Group is one of the leading integrated financial services providers worldwide. Allianz in collaboration with Volans launched a new pro-bono program where consultancy services were provided in kind. Aflatoun was invited to participate in the pilot. The Allianz and Volans consultant team used Six Sigma tools to document and streamline Aflatoun processes in order to improve the quality of the outcomes.
Amsterdam Worldwide is Aflatoun's creative partner for media and brand projects like Aflatoun's visual identity. Amsterdam Worldwide's wonderful and dynamic team in Amsterdam is part of a global award winning full-service communications agency. Under the principles of "Ideas without borders" Amsterdam Worldwide sparks cultural movements for the world's most respected brands using cultural connection - a better sequence for planning communications.
Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu is an organisation of member firms around the world devoted to client service excellence. Member firms offer services in audit, tax, consulting and financial advisory. Deloitte performed Aflatoun's audit for the fiscal years 2006-2008.
DNB De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) supports Aflatoun in a variety of wonderful ways. The DNB serves as the central bank or federal reserve of Holland. The DNB supports Aflatoun, not just by hosting Aflatoun in its Amsterdam headquarters, but also by supporting and raising awareness for Child Social & Financial Education in the Netherlands.
Ernst & Young Ernst & Young is an eminent professional services firm providing four main types of service: accountancy, tax advice, legal advice and transaction advisory services. Ernst & Young is supporting Aflatoun through pro bono provision of internal audit, tax and accountancy services.

Aflatoun is a recipient of a Google Grant award. The Google Grants programme supports organisations sharing Google's philosophy of community service to help the world in areas such as science and technology, education, global public health, the environment, youth advocacy and the arts. Designed for non-profit organisations registered with the Charity Commission of England and Wales or the Inland Revenue, Google Grants is a unique in-kind advertising programme harnessing the power of Google AdWords advertising product. Google Grants has awarded AdWords advertising to hundreds of non-profit groups whose missions range from animal welfare to literacy, from supporting homeless children to promoting HIV education.
Grant Thornton, an accounting and consulting firm active in 113 countries, offers a full range of services for dga's, medium-sized and small companies, as well as special services for larger nationally and internationally active enterprises. The Amsterdam office of Grant Thornton performed Aflatoun's audit for fiscal year 2009.
Houthoff Buruma is a leading, independent, full-service law firm in the Netherlands, providing services to Dutch and international clients. One of the firm's key strengths is its ability to offer extensive knowledge of the Dutch market and Dutch law expertise. Houthoff Buruma supports Aflatoun together with the Lex Mundi Foundation.
McKinsey & Company is the trusted advisor and counselor to many of the most influential businesses and institutions in the world. It serves more than 70 percent of Fortune magazine's most admired list of companies. McKinsey & Company regularly provides strategic management advise to Aflatoun.
From 2 November 2008 to January 2009, a TV and web campaign aired across Nickelodeon's Latin America network to bring key messages on savings, children's rights and entrepreneurship to Latin America's children. Spots featured the Aflatoun Fireball and Nickelodeon's Verdito promoting fun social and financial education messages for children. The campaign's creative development was realised with the financial support of Scotiabank's Bright Future Program.
Quinto Groep B.V is a specialist in Personnel and Renumeration related activities. It started its business on 1 January 2007. Quinto Groep now has twelve offices located in most Dutch regions. Its work is done entirely by professionals with considerable experience in local and expatriate payroll and labour issues. ashoka Ashoka identifies and invests in leading social entrepreneurs - extraordinary individuals with unprecedented ideas for change in their communities - supporting them, their ideas and institutions through all phases of their careers. Ashoka Fellows benefit from being part of the global fellowship for life. Currently, eight Ashoka fellows are directly involved in the roll-out of the Aflatoun programme worldwide.

ChildFund International is inspired and driven by the potential that is inherent in all children - the potential not only to survive but to thrive, to become leaders who bring positive change for those around them. The heart of ChildFund International remains the one-to-one connection made through child sponsorship.
e-Learning for Kids is a global non-profit organisation that is dedicated to opening doors to education worldwide. Established in 2004, e-Learning for Kids is dedicated to fun and FREE learning on the Internet (or via CD ROM) for children aged 5-12 with over 175 best-in-class courses in math, science, language arts, computers, English as a second language, health and life skills.
Some of the courseware is also available in Spanish, French and Portuguese; other languages are in development. A large volunteer staff consists of education and e-Learning experts and business professionals from around the world committed to making a difference
International Child Support (ICS) is a Dutch development organisation committed to realising a safe and enabling environment in which all children - regardless of their nationality, religion, colour, gender or political creed - realise their rights to be protected, be educated and be healthy and are enabled to act as responsible members of society. Their main objective is to realise lasting improvements in the lives of vulnerable children and their communities through child rights programmes and projects, mainly in rural areas. ICS works in Africa and Asia through her regional offices based in Kenya and in Thailand.
The MasterCard Foundation believes that people have the potential to transform their lives, and to improve the lives of their families and communities. By increasing access to microfinance and youth education in developing countries, the Foundation is enabling them to realize their potential and lift themselves out of poverty. It is an independent, private foundation based in Toronto, Canada and was established through the generosity of MasterCard Worldwide at the time of the company's initial public offering in 2006.
The MasterCard Foundation is partnering with Aflatoun to develop the Aflateen curriculum and materials. It is a partner in preparing for programme implementation, creating a venue and facilitating interaction and communication between different stakeholders involved with Aflateen.
Plan International aims to achieve lasting improvements in the quality of life of deprived children in developing countries. Plan stands for the rights of children, and has helped millions of children to have the opportunity to contribute to their societies in a positive way. Plan has a presence in 45 countries and is one of the world's largest development organisations.
  The Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship seeks to be the foremost organization for identifying, selecting and highlighting accomplished social entrepreneurs at the regional and global levels, stimulating productive linkages between them. The Schwab Foundation works in close collaboration with the World Economic Forum.
